BENSON & HEDGES - NOUVEAU PACK UPGRADE CAMPAIGN

The Benson & Hedges brand team from British American Tobacco Bangladesh wished to create something exceptional as the product AV for the iconic pack design refresh across their portfolio. The brief was to deliver something that should reach new heights for visual fidelity compared to all previous work.
Our enthusiasm matched the client's as we onboarded them to a new process and workflow. Previously BATB videos, and most Bangladeshi videos used real-time rendering for 3D animations due to quick feedback rotations and short time frame. This restricted the quality of visuals as outputs.
For this project, our client agreed with a different mindset, where only upon signing off on the detailed animatic will the final GPU based physical rendering begin. This project was key for us to introduce the impact of modern physically accurate renderer to clients and show the potential.
All concept stage preparation, 3D modeling and animation was done with Cinema 4D.
As this project served as a transition for the client to a new workflow, our animatic needed to have great visual similarity with the final render plan not just in motion, but also with colors.
